Our first PTO "Coffee & Connect" meeting of the school year is this Fri, Sept. 12 at 8:45 am in the cafe. Everyone is invited to attend - come find out how PTO supports our students by organizing fundraisers, planning fun family events, etc.

Morning Running Club starts this week with Mr. N! It is a great way for students to start the day with exercise and fresh air. Similar to years past, we meet in the gym at 8:30. Students are to get breakfast before coming to the gym.

MWF: Grades 2-5 from 8:30-8:45.
T/TH: Gr. 6-8 from 8:30-8:45

Picture re-take day will be Fri, Oct. 3 from 9 am - 12 pm. Please contact FCSSP Gardner with any questions!

"Dress to Impress" Picture Day is Thur, Sept. 4! Uniforms are optional and picture day flyers went home in backpacks on Friday. All teachers signed up for a time slot for pictures - need more info? Reach out to teacher or FCSSP Gardner.

Reminder for dismissal on full days: PK/K starts at 3:00 pm & Gr. 1-8 starts at 3:10 pm. The school day is 30 minutes shorter today so the end of the day is officially 3:20 pm. If you need to sign your child up for the bus, Boys & Girls Club, or OPMAD, please reach out to FCSSP Gardner at 860-695-5748

Reminder: The 1st TWO days of school (Tues, Aug. 26 AND Wed, Aug. 27) are EARLY DISMISSAL days (dismissal will start at 11:50 am for PK & K, and at 12:00 pm for Gr. 1-8). Students are expected to come in school uniform both days. Please communicate any dismissal changes to your child's teacher.

Looking for grade level supply lists with CT Tax Free week coming up starting Aug. 17? Look on our website - click on menu, then find your child's grade level under "Teaching and Learning".

School uniform shirts are still for sale at our school store - for $20 each (cash or Venmo) starting at size 5/6 and going through middle school. Next week will be open Wed Aug 13- Fri Aug 15 from 10 am - 2 pm. Contact Ms. Liz for questions!
